July 24, 2025 – As reported on April 24, May 9, and again on June 9, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Diversion Control Division migrated its hardware and software printing infrastructure to a new location. This physical move was the result of contractual matters negotiated by the Government Services Administration (GSA) and is part of DEA’s ongoing effort to improve service, efficiency, and reliability. Operations related to the printing and distribution of various forms – especially U.S. Official Order Form (DEA Form 222) – were temporarily discontinued in mid-May. Since then, the DEA has been printing DEA-222 forms on an emergency basis only.
As of July 24, 2025, print shop services have been fully restored.
