Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the U.S. Senate yesterday voted to confirm Terrance Cole as Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). More information is found here. Mr. Cole’s nomination for this post was “favorably reported” on May 22, 2025 by the Senate Committee on the Judiciary and passed to the full Senate.
A former DEA special agent for 22 years, Mr. Cole was most recently the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
