Mark your calendar! It?s hard to believe that our 40th Annual Conference is only a few months away. Our conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in beautiful downtown Greenville, South Carolina October 28-31, 2024.
We have some exciting and fun plans for this year?s conference as we mark our anniversary, so check the website on a regular basis for updates. Conference and hotel registration information is already available online and a preliminary agenda has now been posted.
We are pleased to announce that we will be kicking off the program with an exciting keynote speaker Dr. Stephen Loyd, Chief Medical Officer, Cedar Recovery. Dr. Loyd Dr. Loyd has been in recovery from opioid and benzodiazepine addiction since July 8, 2004 and was the inspiration for the movie “Dopesick.”
The conference hotel is right in the middle of downtown Greenville with a variety of restaurants, shops and walking trails all within a short distance.
This year’s conference promises to be terrific with a variety of workshops/topics of interest to all of our members. We strongly encourage attendees to register for the conference as soon as possible, make your hotel reservations and book your flights. This is especially important for individuals that need to stay overnight on October 31 (Halloween) as there may be limited availability at the hotel that evening.
Regular members as well as all attendees are strongly encouraged to participate at all business meetings. Additional information and updates will be posted in the coming months, including proposed resolutions. If you have proposed resolutions to be considered please contact us as soon as possible.
