Washington, D.C. — A new national survey from the Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies (ASOP Global) Foundation reveals that while Americans are embracing online pharmacies for convenience and cost, most underestimate the dangers and many have already experienced harm. Compared with the ASOP Global Foundation’s 2023 findings, which showed rapid growth in online medicine use, the 2025 data indicate rising awareness of risk, but also a troubling increase in reported harm and misinformation.
