Even though Red Ribbon Week is more than a month away, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is encouraging state leaders and community members to begin promoting the Go Red for Red Ribbon Week initiative. Observed annually from October 23-31, Red Ribbon Week is dedicated to educating the community about the dangers of drug abuse and renewing the commitment to living a drug-free life. DEA has published a list of ways to promote Red Ribbon Week and will continue to share additional information about the movement in the following days.
